Our History
NCOF’s stone-free fields have been farmed continuously for more than 350 years.
Red Wing Farm, later The Natick Community Farm, is founded to supply much- needed summer jobs to local young people.
1975Lynda Simkins is hired as director. Under her leadership, the farm becomes an integral part of the Town of Natick’s agricultural and community life.
1980In April 2009, The 27 acres on which NCOF sits are forever preserved as conservation land by the townspeople of Natick.

A nonprofit farm, NCOF depends on your donations. Your support allows us to purchase needed equipment, compensate our farmers fairly, and offer robust learning opportunities for all ages.
