This is a craft workshop to learn about sheep and get a taste of processing wool and making your own yarn.

You will:

• Meet our sheep and learn about their breeds and the shearing process.
• Try processing NCOF wool into roving or batts.
• Make your own drop spindle and turn roving into yarn.
• Watch a spinning wheel demonstration and take a turn on the spinning wheel.

This workshop is for ages 6 and up, anyone under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Program runs rain or shine; no refunds will be given after 1/27/25 unless we need to cancel due to extreme weather or low enrollment.
