Whether you’ve had waterfowl for years or you’re still on the fence on whether to get them yourself, this class is for you! This early summer workshop will be run by Ryder, poultry enthusiast, and Meeghan, the livestock manager of the NCOF.

From their adorable quacking to their fun little waddles, waterfowl are easy to fall in love with. A large part of keeping waterfowl is learning from experience, which is why talking to someone who has had waterfowl can be so beneficial because it allows you to feel so much more confident. And the more confident that you are, the more fun you’ll end up having.

Although we will have a basic roadmap of what we want to talk about, your questions will ultimately dictate where we end up. This workshop is intended for ages 16 and up; if you have someone younger who is interested in attending, please reach out.
