David is the Senior Horticulturist at Garden in the Woods, a botanic garden in Framingham, MA devoted to the promotion and display of native New England plants. He has lived and worked as a garden professional in Massachusetts for over twenty years, having come for an internship at the Arnold Arboretum. His interest in native plants began while studying birds and working with Vermont Audubon, where he had moved after completing a Master’s degree in philosophy from The New School University in New York city. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.
