Whether you have had chickens for years or got them a couple months ago, this class is for you! This late spring class will be run by Ryder, a chicken enthusiast who has had backyard chickens for over 5 years, and Meeghan, the livestock manager of the NCOF.

Having chickens is truly one of the most rewarding experiences out there, and by knowing what you’re doing, it can feel all the more rewarding. But it can be hard to figure out what information to follow, especially at first. Articles all say different things, and books use language that is hard to understand, but by talking to someone who has gone through it before, you’ll end up more confident then you could imagine.

Please plan to bring your questions with you to the class; we will tailor our discussion topics based on the interests of the students.
