Volunteer and Paid Position for High School Students


Leaders in Training (LiT)

Are you in high school and like nature, the outdoors, and working with kids? The Leader in Training program is a volunteer opportunity for individuals aged 15 to 18 to teach and learn to teach alongside our summer educators. Teach something, learn something, and make a difference to someone this summer. Click here to learn more.


When: June 19 - August 25, weekly sessions run Monday through Thursday. LiTs are asked to work between 2 and 4 weeks.
Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m, depending on which program the LIT assists

There will be a mandatory meeting on Monday, June 12th from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.

Teen Work Crew (TWC)

When: June 19 - August 25, Monday through Thursday. Crewmembers are asked to work between 3 and 5 weeks
Hours: 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. with an unpaid hour lunch break.
Compensation: $10 an hour
