Pre-School Programs

Chore Time (Ages 3-5)
Come down to the Farm and wake the animals up. Help the Farm feed and water the animals and gather the eggs.

eco crafts (Ages 3-5)
Let's explore the forest in beautiful fall and create crafts from natural and recycled materials, from creating egg carton green houses, to designing leaf creatures, to doing plant treasure hunts. Let your imagination run wild as we learn about the importance of the natural world.

Spend some time learning about these warm, fuzzy little creatures, how they live in the wild and how we care for them at home.

Little Hands in the Soil (Ages 3-5)
We are looking for little hands to help us take care of our gardens. We will harvest, mulch, and put the garden to bed, just like big gardeners. Maybe we'll hide some bulbs in the ground to surprise the Farmers in the spring.

outdoor explore and play (Ages 1.5-3.5 with a caregiver)

Join our dynmanic playgroup with focuses on outdoor free-play and exploration, community building and connection to the natural world. When registering, please include the age of your child and who will accompany your childn in the "notes" section.

purely pigs (ages 3-5)

Get to know the smartest animal on the Farm. This is a chance to learn about our pigs, feed them kitchen scraps, and watch them play in the mud!

SHEEP, GOATS, AND COWS--OH MY! (ages 3-5)

Spend some time learning about our sheep, goats, and cows. We learn what these gentle, friendly animals really love to eat and feed them ourselves. Maybe, if we're quiet, we can pet them and hand-feed them some grain.

School Age Programs

NEW: cookies & cocoa (ages 5-10)
Join us at the Farm for an afternoon of fun baking delicious cookies! You'll get to try different baking techniques, including a roll and drop cookie, and a gingerbread or a sugar cookie. Bring your love of cookies and an appetite! Different techniques will be taught at the different sessions. This is a drop-off program.

Family Programs

 

NEW: farm fun with our wee oneS (ages 1-2 with caregiver)
Join us at the Farm for an indoor sensory experience with your infant or toddler. Lead by a Farm teacher, we will lay out some blankets near our cozy woodstove and let our little ones play and explore. We will bring the outside in by introducing some of our smaller Farm animals, such as a rabbit or a chicken, to our wee ones. Come down to the Farm and enjoy an indoor adventure!

A Farmer's Morning (for all ages; under 10s must be accompanied by a caregiver)
Let's do it the Farmer's way! First we will take care of the animals, feed and water them. We'll collect fresh eggs for breakfast, and then head inside for a hearty farm breakfast.

Join us at the Farm for a forest-sensory experience for your infant or toddler! Led by a Farm teacher, you will spend time in the woods exploring nature with your young child, and experience the joys of the season together!
